People always want to know what porn stars do in real life. One of the models I’ve used several times here at Lavender Lounge is Tommy Lazzari, who in real life, is a legit actor. In fact, theater is his life. Friends tease him that he is always “onstage”, either metaphorically or literally. Whether he is performing one of his series of one-man shows, singing at charity events, producing his self-written show “Dirty Little Show Tunes”, entertaining customers at the leather store, or getting blowjobs in the backroom of the Powerhouse, Tommy is always putting on a show. Last night I got to see him a big production of the rarely produced show, “The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade” at the Brava Theater here in San Francisco, a legit show in a legit theater. Despite having a small role in a huge cast onstage, all eyes were on Tommy and his antics. The role gave him the opportunity to be the zany, campy goofball that suits him well. But his big moment came in the orgy scene near the end when he was the only cast member to show his… um… member.

As the orgy scene commenced, his character came out as a randy nutcase eying an effeminate inmate in drag with the over-the-top ferocity of Jeff Stryker going in for the kill. While a few female actors showed their tits and other male actors flaunted cartoon-like fake penises, Tommy was the only one to actually show is own dick on stage. And trust me, it’s big enough to be clearly seen from the back row! Brava! Bravo!
